Liberian Senate Vows to Uphold Trust, Confidence…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Members of the Senate have vowed to uphold the trust and confidence of their constituents.

Giving their experiences during the first day sitting of the 55th Legislature on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the Senators said citizens deserve better representation and improvement of their livelihood.

The Senators made reference to good road networks, improved healthcare, and quality education.

They noted that agriculture, security, jobs, and basic social services must also be prioritized through their consideration of the national budget.

Our reporter said the Senators also made the usual promise noted to fall short of meeting the needs of the Liberian people.
