President-Elect Boakai Says Liberia Stands to Benefit from Goodwill Partners

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President-elect, Joseph Boakai says Liberia stands to benefit from goodwill international support under his administration.

Ambassador Boakai said:” Such support will directly benefit Liberians who have given him the mandate to serve for the betterment of their lives.”

He said:” The IMF and World Bank officials, including US Congressmen, have pledged their support to the Boakai-Koung development agenda.”

President-elect Boakai also vowed not to betray the confidence of the Liberian people, assuring the immediate implementation of positive actions to transform the country under his Presidency.

According to ELBC Reporter, Ambassador Joseph Boakai spoke on Sunday upon his arrival at the Roberts International Airport (RIA) from the United States of America.

Meanwhile, President-elect Boakai says he is healthy and strong ahead of his January 22 inauguration and subsequent governance in 2024.

It followed speculations about the well-being of Liberia’s incoming 26th President, Joseph N. Boakai.

However, speaking at the Thanksgiving Service at the Effort Baptist Church, the President-elect paid homage to God for providence.

Ambassador Joseph Boakai said he returned home with a new vigor for the sole purpose of nation-building in line with his vision for Liberia.
