Fallen Tree Kills 53-Year-Old-Man in Grand Gedeh County

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-A fallen tree has reportedly killed a 53-year-old man in Putu-Panwloh, Grand Gedeh County.

According to the ELBC Correspondent in the County, Mr. Tweh Kart is an employee of the Euro Logging Company operating in the County.

Our Correspondent said the man died while felling trees for the Company.

The death of Mr. Kart brings to six the number of employees of the Euro Logging Company in Grand Gedeh County who died under similar circumstances.

Our Correspondent quotes residents of the area as attributing constant deaths at the Company to a lack of awareness of safety rules and risk management, among others.
