MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Finance Minister Samuel Tweah has termed the US sanction as a prolonged campaign of lies, misinformation, propaganda, and disinformation against him.

Minister Tweah said:” The campaign was carried out by detractors since my appointment at the Finance Ministry in 2018.”

He said his detractors provided misinformation to the US Government which led to the sanction against him.

Speaking at a news conference on Thursday, December 14,202, at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Minister Tweah further denied the allegations contained in the sanctions.
