Grand Gedeh County Commerce Inspectorate Team Seizes Expired Goods…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Local Commerce Ministry Inspectorate Team has confiscated a huge consignment of expired goods in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County.

The goods include tomatoes, Super Gari, milk, flour, and energy drinks, among others.

Grand Gedeh County Commerce Inspector, Deeded McClain, is quoted as putting the monetary value of the expired goods to over seven hundred thousand Liberian Dollars.

Our Correspondent said:” The affected businesses have since paid undisclosed fines imposed by the local Commerce Inspectorate Team.”

Meanwhile, residents of Zwedru are calling on the Commerce Ministry to extend the inspections to other parts of the country.
