Pres. Weah Leaves for Dubai…..

President George Weah is heading for Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, later today, to attend the 28th Conference of Parties, COP 28.

The COP 28 runs from November 30 to December 12.

An Executive Mansion release said President Weah will join other world leaders to deliberate on critical issues on Climate Change, especially its global effects.

The Liberian Leader is expected to showcase Liberia’s position and call on world leaders, environmental institutions, civil society organizations, and industries to formulate mechanisms to achieve a zero-carbon future for all.

President George Weah will also push for clean energy, climate solutions, reduced carbon emissions, and support for frontline countries on climate change, including Liberia.
