WFP Signs Two-Year Agreement to Manage Central Medical Store in Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The World Food Program (WFP) has signed a two-year agreement to manage the Central Medical Store in Liberia.

The Central Medical Store is located in Upper Caldwell, Montserrado County.

According to WFP-Liberia Country Director, Aliou Diongue, the agreement is to ensure the proper management and effective delivery of medical drugs to health facilities across Liberia.

Dr. Diongue said:” The four-point- two million US Dollar agreement is being funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).”

The WFP-Liberia Country Director told journalists in Caldwell on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, that an agreement was given to the WFP to address the speedy delivery of drugs to health facilities.
