Nat’l Traditional Council of Chiefs and Elders Gives Ultimatum to Sen. Dillon…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Council of Chiefs and Elders of Liberia has given a four-day ultimatum to Montserrado County Senator, Abraham Darius Dillon, to retract a demeaning statement made against its National Chairman, Chief Zanzan Kawor.

Senator Dillon is said to have branded Chief Kawor on OK FM as a fake traditionalist who is scheming with the current administration.

The Council also condemned Senator Dillon’s action against Chief Kawor, describing it as an affront to it.

Chief Matthew Smith said:” The comments by Senator Dillon were not only demeaning but a violation of the country’s tradition and culture.”

According to him, Chief Zanzan Kawor has not ever mentioned Senator Dillon in any public discussion to deserve such unwarranted insults on the radio.
