Pres. Weah Calls on Liberian Muslims to Remain Peaceful…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has called on Liberian Muslims to remain peaceful and continue to maintain the true reason for the foundation of the All Liberian Coalition Party (ALCOP).

According to President Weah, as one of the founding members of ALCOP, along with the late Liberian Statesman, Alhaji Kromah, their dreams and aspirations were not only meant to take state power but to make Liberian Muslims feel a part of their own country.

He said:” It is saddening for me to see politicians who do not know the true intent of the foundation of ALCOP and using it to instigate violence.”

The Liberian Leader then called on ALCOP partisans to remain united and peaceful in their quest for freedom and tranquility.

President George Weah was speaking on Sunday, November 5, 2023, on the Japan Freeway when the Union of Liberian Muslims endorsed his re-election bid ahead of the November 14 Run-Off Election.
