All Liberian Party Formally Affirmed Backing for Pres. Weah Re-election

MONROVIA LIBERIA-All Liberian Party (ALP) has officially declared support for the second-term of President George Weah.

During the endorsement ceremony on Sunday, October 29, 2023, ALP Political Leader, Benoni Urey, said:” The Party’s support for President Weah is based on the many development programs he has undertaken in the country.”

Mr. Urey read the Party’s position statement at the ALP Headquarters in Oldest Congo Town.

The ALP Political Leader also assured of the Party’s commitment to work vigorously to ensure that the President is re-elected.

The renowned Liberian Businessman turned politician also expressed confidence that President Weah will continue meeting the needs and aspiration of the Liberian people.

Receiving the endorsement, President Weah lauded the All Liberian Party for officially endorsing his re-election bid.

The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) Standard Bearer said:” The endorsement is not just a testament of my commitment to developing the lives of Liberians, but also a reminder of the responsibility ahead.”

The President also expressed excitement over the reconciliation between the two political parties.

Meanwhile, high-level consultations have intensified and taken center stage across Liberia’s political space, as the country heads for the November 14 Presidential Run-Off Election.
