“Give Election Observers Unrestricted Access to Polling Stations on Election Day”- Catherine Rodriguez

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Charge d’Affaires at the United Embassy in Monrovia is calling for unrestricted access to polling stations for election observers on Election Day.

Madam Catherine Rodriguez urged the National Elections Commission to grant access to election observers during the vote tallying process.

Madam Rodriguez said:” The U.S. is committed to working along with all Liberians to ensure the country remains a beacon of stability.”

According to a release, the top U.S. Embassy Official made the call on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Peace Building Conference organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Madam Catherine Rodriguez also praised political parties for reaffirming their commitment to peaceful elections.
