Pres. Weah Urges Religious Community to Continue Praying for Country’s Peace

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah has cautioned the Religious Community to continue praying for the country’s peace.

President Weah described peace as a crucial component of the advancement of any nation.

The Liberian Leader made the remark at the New Breed Praise Tabernacle Ministry during a special worship service in Bomi County.

President Weal also lauded the religious community for being a symbol of unity and hope over the years.

At the same time, the Senior Pastor of the New Breed Praise Tabernacle Ministry, Rev. David Ballah, says God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Rev. Ballah said:” This is why God’s selection of a leader is not based on educational or material qualifications, but the person’s heart and President Weah has demonstrated over the years to be a God-sent leader as evidenced by his developmental track record.”

Rev. Ballah encouraged the CDC Standard Bearer to remain undeterred in his quest to transform the country.

The Liberian Clergyman was speaking over the weekend at a special service organized by the Christian Community of Bomi Community.

Meanwhile, President Weah has donated musical sets, motorbikes, chairs, and other assorted materials to the Religious Community of the county.

Bomi County Senator, Edwin Snowe, made the disclosure during citizens’ engagement with the CDC Standard Bearer and the Campaign Team.

Senator Snowe said:” The President’s gesture is intended to elevate the image of God through worship.”
