Police Detains Man for Allegedly Maltreating Children…

GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Grand Bassa County are investigating a man believed to be in his thirties for allegedly chopping his two children with a cutlass.

The incident happened on Monday night, July 31, 2023, in the Jecko Town Community in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

According to ELBC Grand Bassa County Correspondent, the man identified as Emmanuel Cole, claimed to have been under a demonic spell.

Suspect Cole chopped off the ear of one of the children and chopped the hand and face of the other child.

Our Correspondent said the children were taken to the Liberian Government Hospital in Buchanan, but later transferred to the John Kennedy Medical Center to seek advanced medication.
