Nat’l Elections Commission, Partners to Hold Engagement Forum with Presidential Aspirants Today

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC), in collaboration with authorities with ECOWAS Monrovia Office and the United Nations, is expected to hold an engagement forum with presidential aspirants in the pending October 10 Elections on Wednesday.

A NEC release issued said:” The gathering is aimed at urging aspirants, supporters, and voters to be peaceful and non-violent before, during, and after the elections.”

The engagement is part of the Commission’s ongoing dialogue with electoral actors to promote inclusive, credible, peaceful, and non-violent elections as enshrined in the Farmington River Declaration signed, recently.

Meanwhile, the National Elections Commission has released the final voter registration data per electoral districts and voting precincts on its official website.
