Liberian Senate Adjourns…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has adjourned for its second constituency break of the Sixth Session.

The break runs from July to the middle of October this year.

Making his closing remarks on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Capitol, Senate Pro-Tempt Albert Chie lauded his colleagues for deliberating on major instruments over the period.

Pro-Tempt Chie said: “Nominees of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission are still being scrutinized based on the criteria and documents presented.”

The Grand Kru County Senator said nominees from the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission, the Governance Commission, and the Board of Tax Appeal were confirmed.
