Youth Leaders Sign Youth Non-Violence Manifesto…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Scores of youth leaders have signed a Youth Non-Violence Manifesto for Peaceful Elections in Liberia.

The youth were drawn from nineteen youth organizations and political parties across the country.

The manifesto is a testament to the leaders’ dedication to promoting non-violence before, during, and after the October 10 Presidential and Legislative Elections.

The document also called for equal participation of all individuals regardless of backgrounds, identities, and political alignment.

The document is a rallying call for all young Liberians to unite and become agents of change in the nation.

The program, which took place on Monday, July 24, 2023, in Paynesville City, was organized by a local Non-Governmental Organization, Camp for Peace-Liberia, in collaboration with partners.
