Nat’l Traditional Council of Chiefs and Elders Lauds Gov…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Traditional Council of Chiefs and Elders has lauded the Liberian Government for selecting its Head, Chief Zanzan Kawor, to serve as National Orator for this year’s Independence Day program.

According to the Traditional Council, the selection is a milestone achievement and a positive legacy the Government has made in the group.

In an ELBC Interview on Monday, July 24, 2023, the Spokesperson of the group, Chief Matthew Smith, said all traditional leaders have begun arriving in Monrovia for the program.

Chief Smith disclosed that the Council Chairman is expected to highlight the importance of his selection and stressed the importance of peace and unity, ahead of the October 10 Elections.

Chief Matthew Smith said:” Chief Zanzan Kawor’s selection comes at the right time amid the ensuing campaign period, ahead of the October 10 polls.”
