MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education says it has begun preparations for the Phase Two of the Presidential National Best Teachers Award in Liberia.

Education Minister Ansu Sonii told ELBC Education at the Mid-Week program that the winner will be awarded two million Liberian Dollars.

Minister Sonii reiterated that the Award is aimed at recognizing teachers for their selfless contributions and commitments to molding the minds of Liberian students.

The Education Ministry also praised the Weah-led Administration for its continuous support of the Ministry and expressed optimism that Government’s support to the Education Ministry shows its preparedness to improve the system.
