Coalition FOR Democratic Change Hails Members…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), has hailed members, supporters, and well-wishers for their continuous support to the party and its Political Leader, President George Weah.

On Monday, July 17, 2023, thousands of partisans, including supporters and well-wishers converged at the Party’s Headquarters in Congo Town and paid tribute to President Weah for his astute leadership over the years.

CDC National Secretary General, Jefferson Koijee, said:” The party remains committed to meeting the dreams and aspirations of the Liberian people.

Mr. Koijee also thanked President Weah for nominating Maritime Commissioner, Lenn Eugene Nagbe, as Campaign Chairman of the party.

Mr. Jefferson Koijee said:” Commissioner Nagbe has the political pedigree and understands the dynamics of the country’s politics.”

At the same time, the CDC has appointed a Seven-Member Outreach Committee to reach out to partisans who fainted and got injured during the party’s “Thank-You Rally.”

Members of the Committee include Abel Massallay, Chair, Eric Kpayea, Co-Chair, Alexander Saydee, Secretary General, and Robert Sammy, member.

Others include Daniel Gayou, member, Reverand Augustine Nimely, Member, and Susanna Lorpu-Martha-Sarton, member.

The CDC General Secretary, Jefferson Koijee, said:” The establishment of the Committee followed a mandate from President George Weah to ensure affected partisans recovered.”

The Committee was announced on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, during a news conference at the party’s headquarters in Congo Town.
