“Amb. Boakai has lost political relevance in his native home, Lofa County”-Sup. Kamba

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Lofa County Superintendent, William Kamba, has made a startling revelation that Unity Party (UP) Standard Bearer, Joseph Boakai, has lost political relevance in his native home, Lofa County.

Superintendent Kamba said:” Though the people of Lofa County cherish their traditional values, they have resolved to overwhelmingly re-elect President George Weah in the October Polls by voting development over tradition.”

He said it is disheartening that former Vice President Boakai has done less than twenty-five percent investments in his own county, through his years of public service.

Mr. Kamba maintained that the October Elections will witness a fifty-fifty scramble for Lofa County between the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) and the Unity Party.

Superintendent William Kamba spoke on Wednesday, July 11, 2023, on the ELBC night time program-Open Conversation.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kamba has expressed dismay over the reported plan by Ambassador Boakai to mortgage the county’s Wologisi Mountain.

Recently, Political Liberian Commentator, Henry Costa, made a shocking revelation that the UP Standard Bearer, Joseph Boakai, has reportedly resolved to loan the Wologisi Mountain to his campaign financier if elected President of Liberia.

But, Superintendent Kamba said:” The people of Lofa will resist any plan to mortgage their Wologisi Mountain for personal benefits.”

Superintendent William Kamba also stressed that equipment brought into Foya District in Lofa County by Ambassador Boakai for the bogus agriculture project now lying in ruins waiting to be scrapped.

At the same time, Bong County Superintendent, Esther Walker, speaking on the same program, dismissed the claim by UP Standard Bearer Joseph Boakai about the existence of the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Market in Gbarnga.

Recently, Ambassador Boakai said the UP, during twelve years of rule,   constructed a modern market hall in Gbarnga, Bong County, called the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Market.

She dismissed Ambassador Boakai’s claim as false and deceptive and intended to mislead Liberians to regain state power.

Superintendent Walker noted that the UP failed the Liberian people, and should not be given credence to discuss about development in Liberia.

Meanwhile, Madam Walker has boasted of substantial progress made by Weah-led Administration in Bong County.

The Bong County Superintendent named modern housing units in Marshalsue, the ongoing construction of CB Dumbar Hospital, and Bong County Technical College, among others.

According to Madam Walker, based on these development initiatives, Bongese is set to give the Liberian Leader a second term mandate in the much anticipated October 10 Elections.

Superintendent Esther Walker noted that already a team from Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor’s office has been dispatched to the county to sensitize citizens about the strides made by the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC)-led Government.
