Two Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Bomi County

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Bomi County has sentenced to life imprisonment, Momo Gray, for killing his two-year-old nephew early this year in Zelay Town, Dowien District.

The Grandfather of the child, Siafa Gray, was also sentenced to five years on account of criminal facilitation and criminal conspiracy.

The sentencing of the two individuals followed a unanimous guilty verdict brought down by jurors at the Circuit Court in Tubmanburg.

Little Saah Momo was murdered early this year with body parts extracted and placed in a ceiling for commercial purposes, but the Liberia National Police intercepted the human sale deal.

Meanwhile, four of the six persons arrested following the killing were set free by the police in Bomi County, due to the lack of sufficient evidence to prosecute them.
