15TH Judicial Circuit Court Trial Jury Hands Down Unanimous Guilty Verdict…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Trial Jury at the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in River Gee County on Tuesday handed down a unanimous guilty verdict against five defendants in a murder case.

Defendants James Weah, Albert Weah, Suku Sherman, Pedesco Saywon, and Charles Nyanti murdered one Rachel Weah, in Grand Kru County on April 1, 2022.

The case was transferred to River Gee County due to a change of venue filed by prosecuting lawyers in Grand Kru County.

Judge Wesseh A. Wesseh is expected to announce a sentence after a pre-sentencing report from Fish Town Central prison is received.

Meanwhile, defense lawyer, Cllr. Jerome Pour, took exception to the ruling, saying he will take advantage of the law.
