Three Burkinabes Drowned in Cavalla River

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-Three persons believed to be Burkinabes have reportedly drowned in the Cavalla River, in Grand Gedeh County.

ELBC Grand Gedeh County Correspondent said:” The incident occurred recently when a boat carrying bags of cocoa to the Ivory Coast capsized”.

The victims are believed to be cocoa importers in the area.

Meanwhile, the remains of the deceased have since been turned over to the Ivorian Government for burial.
