University of Liberia Begins 103rd Commencement Convocation Activities

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The University of Liberia has begun rolling out activities leading to its 103rd Commencement Convocation beginning May 29.

A statement issued on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, said that at least one thousand five hundred undergraduate candidates from the UL’s Undergraduate Colleges and Professional Schools are expected to form part of the ceremony.

The statement added that this year’s Commencement Convocation will take place in categories beginning with a college-based graduation format on the UL’s Fendell Campus in Louisiana, outside Monrovia.

The statement further said that other activities in commemoration of the 103rd exercise already began on Monday, May 22, 2023, with an Arts and Craft exhibition.

Also, the unveiling of two portraits in honor of President George Weah and the University of Liberia President, Dr. Julius Nelson, was held in the refurbished Department of Fine and Performing Arts.
