Police Arrests Man for Wildlife Killings…..

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Grand Gedeh County has arrested a man for being involved with the killing of protected animals in the County.

According to ELBC Grand Gedeh County Correspondent, the police arrested Suspect Foday Varney for being in possession of five bags of Pangolin shells, and protected species in Zleh Town, following a tip-off.

Suspect Varney has been charged with killing wildlife species, trading protected animals, and economic sabotage.

Police preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspect and his accomplices have reportedly engaged in the killing and trading of the animals.

Meanwhile, Suspect Foday Varney is in detention in Zwedru awaiting court trial.
