Monrovia City Police Director denies Allegations of Linking Mayor Koijee to Weapons Importation…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Director of the Monrovia City Police has denied being part of any communication linking Mayor Jefferson Koijee to the importation of weapons into the country.

Recently, it was reported on the Spoon Network that Mr. Thomas Garwo released leaked audio linking Mayor Koijee to the importation of a huge consignment of arms and ammunition.

But, in a press conference on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in Monrovia, following his return to the country from the United States, Mr. Garwo dismissed the allegation.

He also rejected claims of linking Mayor Koijee to the death of Cllr. Gloria Musu-Scott’s niece, Charloe Musu.

Mr. Garwo said:” Wide allegations made against me are only intended to put me against my Boss, and I am appealing for security protection for fear of my life”.
