“Respect for the rule of law is crucial to democratic governance”-Cllr. Warner

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The senior partner of Heritage and Partners Law Firm says respect for the rule of law is crucial to democratic governance.

Cllr. Negbalee Warner said the government of the people means respect for the rule of law, and legality and democracy are proportional to the constitutional mandate.

He also described voter trucking as human trafficking.

Cllr. Warner said:” Exploiting and holding one for the sole purpose of having no active choice is illegal”.

He made the remarks on Friday, May 5, 2023, at programs marking the observance of Law Day.
