MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on the occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III on May 6.
President Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia and in his own name, extended sincere best wishes to King Charles III, the Government and people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on his ascension to the British throne.
He recalled King Charles’ long years of work for humanity, especially through the Prince’s Trust, which has helped vulnerable young people get their lives on track.
President George Weah said:” As the King assumes leadership of the throne, the Liberian Government looks forward to working along with him in achieving global peace”.
