Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency Seizes Narcotic Substance Valued over 1 (m) Million Liberian Dollars

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Bomi County Detachment of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has confiscated narcotic substances worth over one-million Liberian Dollars.

The drug, known as KUSH, was seized from a forty-year-old Taxi Driver named Mohammed Kamara, during the LDEA’s routine search at the Clay Check Point in the County.

ELBC Correspondent quotes the driver as saying a bag containing the drug was given to him by a car loader at Bo Waterside, while en route to Monrovia.

Meanwhile, Suspect Kamara is expected to be forwarded to a court to face prosecution.
