Grand Bassa County Student Community Supports Pres. Weah Re-Election Bid

BUCHANAN, GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Student Community of Grand Bassa County has pledged to support the re-election bid of President George Weah.

Speaking on behalf of the Student Community, Blessing Walker said:” Our support is based on President Weah’s sustained support towards the improvement of the Country’s Education System, under his administration”.

Ms. Walker named the payment of both WAEC and WASSCE fees as reasons behind their quest for the re-election bid of President Weah.

She said:” The payment of our fees has greatly impacted the lives of Liberian students and lessened the financial burdens of parents in the last five years of the CDC-led Administration”.

Ms. Walker declared their support on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, during an interactive engagement with President George Weah in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

Meanwhile, Preside Weah says his Government remains committed to assisting young Liberians in acquiring quality education.

He noted that if the youthful population is educated, the Country stands to benefit immensely.

President Weah said:” To achieve this feat, my administration will continue to work along with partners in making it possible”.

The Liberian Leader also urged students of Grand Bassa County to be dedicated to their studies.
