Court Orders Former Justice Minister’s Arrest

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court “D” has issued an arrest warrant for former Justice Minister, Cllr. Lavala Supuwood.

Judge Korboi Nuta’s April 10, 2023, arrest warrant has mandated Captain Arnold Wollor, Sheriff of the Court, along with armed police officer to apprehend the living body of Cllr. Supuwood.

Judge Nuta’s order followed Cllr. Supuwood’s alleged refusal to surrender Ben Kennedy, who reportedly served as surety for fifteen suspected armed robbers.

The Circuit Court Judge is enforcing a mandate from the Justice in Chambers of the Supreme Court to re-arrest the suspects in question.
