Phase-One of Biometric Voter Registration Ends Today

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Phase-One of the ongoing Biometric Voters Registration (BVR) process in six of the fifteen counties ends today.

The BVR exercise started on March 20, 2023, in Montserrado, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Gbarpolu, Grand Bassa and Margibi Counties.

Meanwhile, the National Elections Commission, (NEC), in a release issued over the weekend, extended by two hours the BVR exercise in the remaining two days, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

According to the release, the hours for Saturday and Sunday voter registration now run from 8am to 7pm.

NEC said the additional hours will allow Liberians of voting age not to be left out in the process.
