Liberia to Benefit from Climate Change Funding

LOWER MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah says Liberia will benefit from Climate Change funding to protect the forest.

President Weah maintained that Liberia has a huge biodiversity portfolio due to its forest, and as such, the Country plays a major role in curbing carbon emission.

Speaking to reporters at the Roberts International Airport upon arrival on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, President Weah said:” I held series of engagements in the United States and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which yielded fruitful results.”
