“Gov. Needs One (1) Billion US Dollars Towards Improving Education System”-VP Taylor

GANTA, NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-VICE President Jewel Howard-Taylor says the Liberian Government needs one-billion United States Dollars towards improvement of the education system.

VP Taylor said:” Government will mobilize resources in five years to secure targeted amount.”

The Vice President was speaking on Monday, March 27, 2023, at the start of the Joint Education Sector Review Conference taking place in Ganta, Nimba County.

She added that amid global challenges and the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Government has invested hugely in education.

Madam Taylor said currently Government has invested over five-million US Dollars to the actualization of the Education Sector Plan.

Meanwhile, VP Taylor has hailed partners in education for their support to transforming the Country’s Education System.
