MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Town Chief of Tutu Town in Rural Montserrado County has threatened to kill his wife for alleged extra marital affairs.

John Gono accused his wife of allegedly having an affair with a man whom he fails to name for a protracted period.

ELBC Correspondent quotes Chief Gono’s wife, Mamie Gono, as saying her husband wasted the food she prepared, thereby breaching the cultural norms of the town.

Madam Gono further narrated that in an attempt to have Chief Gono arrested, he locked himself up and threatened to chop anyone attempting to enter.

Meanwhile, Chief John Gono has been arrested and is undergoing investigation by elders of surrounding towns and villages, for breaching cultural norms.
