National Port Authority Commissions Patrol Boat “Lady Diana”

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Management of the National Port Authority (NPA) has commissioned a patrol boat called Lady Diana, to enhance the operations of the Sea Port Police.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Liberia Sea Port Police Director, Logan Davis, said: “The commissioning is to protect the Authority’s marine operations.”

Colonel Davis said the boat will be used to patrol the water basin of the Free Port of Monrovia to curtail criminals from entering the ships.

He thanked the NPA Management for the boat which will enable them to conduct smooth operations.

Speaking earlier, NPA Deputy Corporate Security Coordinator, Colonel Barclay Dennis and Liberia Maritime Authority Security Chief, Simeon Chea, praised the NPA Management for the initiative.
