Internat’l Maritime Org. Auditors to Arrive in Liberia Soon

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A team of auditors from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is expected in Liberia soon to review the Maritime Sector.

Maritime Commissioner, Eugene Nagbe, told a gathering of maritime stakeholders that the pending review is critical to the participation of Liberia at the IMO.

Commissioner Nagbe told ELBC on Monday, February 27, 2023, that as part of the upcoming event, the authority has begun holding discussions among stakeholders within the sector.

The Maritime Authority Commissioner General said Liberia will continue to remain engaged with other maritime countries to improve the sector.
