RIVERCESS COUNTY, LIBERIA-The trial Jurors at the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Rivercess County have found a 45-year-old man guilty of statutory rape.
The Jurors found Defendant Samuel Zegaye unanimously guilty of raping a 12-year-old girl in the Gbokon Gold Camp, in Yarnee Statutory District.
The incident happened in in 2020.
Meanwhile, the Resident Circuit Court Judge of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Court, D. Onesimus Banwon, is expected to give his final ruling in the case and sentence the Defendant on Friday, October 21, 2022.
