Prices of some commodities soar in Grand Cape Mount County

GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY, LIBERIA-The prices of some commodities, mainly rice, are said to be on the increase in Grand Cape Mount County.

According to ELBC Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent, the 25 kg bag of rice is being sold at varying prices across different locations in the County.

Our correspondent said for residents of towns along the road, from Gbaa to Bo Water Side, are paying two- thousand-seven Liberian Dollars for the 25 kg bag of rice.

She said:” In the rural part of Grand Cape Mount County, people are paying as high as 3000 Liberian Dollars per 25-kilogram bag of rice.”

Our correspondent attributed the rise in price to limited supplies reaching the County.
