State Prosecutors present First Witness in ongoing murder trial….

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-State Prosecutors have produced their first witness in the ongoing murder trial of Executive Protection Service (EPS) Agent Patrick Kollie.

Paul Layee admitted that he knew the victim but not the defendant.

Witness Layee, a motorcyclist, said while on their way from a friend’s birthday party from Nezoe Community, they saw a white car parked along the Police Academy route.

He said that when they got closer to the parked vehicle, they noticed that occupant had a weapon, causing them to flee in different directions, due to panic.

Layee noted that it was while running that the EPS Agent started shooting, killing valentine Johnson in the process
