Water and Sewer Corporation begins major work in Central Monrovia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) has commenced work to supply pipe born water to Central Monrovia.

Technicians of the LWSC are working to connect a major pipe from the Corporation’s booster station at the Fish Market in Sinkor, to several parts of Central Monrovia.

The work being done has created huge traffic congestion along the Tubman Boulevard route to   Central Monrovia.

Speaking to ELBC ON Tuesday, March 1, 2022, LWSC Managing Director, Duanna Kamara, appealed to the public, including motorists and pedestrians to remain calm, as technicians are working to install the pipe within five days.

According to Mr. Kamara, upon completion of the work more than a million gallon of water will be pumped into Central Monrovia and its environs.
