Participating in Liberia’s Bicentennial Celebrations is a Moral Obligation-Religious Community

MONROVIA, LIBERIA- The Religious Community has reemphasized, as a moral obligation, its participation in the ongoing Bicentennial celebrations.

It said it is offering prayers and supplications for the nation, citizens and the Government.

According to the Secretary General of the Liberia Council of Churches, Rev. Christopher Toe, and the Chairman of the Muslim Council of Liberia, Abdullai Massaray, they are working together to ensure the religious community’s full participation in the Bicentennial events.

Rev. Toe and Imam Massaray said currently prayers are being conducted at their respective churches and mosques for the stability and growth of the Country.

As part of the Bicentennial events, worships will be held at designated places of worship, including the planned consecration of the newly renovated Executive Mansion.
