AFL Chief of Staff urges Security Personnel to build strong character

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL), Major General Prince C. Johnson, has stressed the need for security personnel to build their character.

Major General Johnson said:” Individuals working in the security sector should build strong character to combat security and regional threats, including terrorism, drugs, civil unrest and human trafficking.”

The Army Chief was speaking at the Police Training Academy in Paynesville over the weekend, when sixty custom officers from the Liberian Revenue Authority (LRA) graduated from three-month training in Basic Police Science.

He urged the graduates to increase their self-awareness and uphold honesty and integrity at all times.

For his part, the LRA Commissioner General, Thomas Doe-Nah, reiterated Government’s quest for increment in the Country’s revenue.

Commissioner Doe-Nah described the graduates as an integral part of the revenue generating process of the Country .
