Ending violence against Women, Girls is Everybody’s Business-Anders Arvidsson

MONROV IA, LIBERIA-Deputy head of Delegation  Mission of  the European Union (EU) in Liberia  says the sixteen days of activism to end violence against women and girls , is everybody’s’ task.

Anders Arvidsson said:” The elimination of violence and discrimination, through awareness in schools, churches, markets, should not remain silent , and must not be  compromised.

The Deputy EU head made the remark recently, at a school contest, under the theme Imagine Liberia in 2030.

This competition, he said, seeks to bring to light young people’s imagination and vision for Liberia in the future, with a challenge to be creative and imaginative.

Arvidsson challenge each and every one to play a role and contribute to make a better society.

In 2015, at the UN General Assembly, all countries agreed worldwide on seventeen global goals to achieve a better and sustainable future for all.

These goals include outstanding global challenges, to eradicate poverty in all its form, and to end hunger, achieve food security and to promote sustainable agriculture.
