World Bank donates twenty-seven vehicles to Liberia Institute for Geo-Information Services

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-About twenty-seven Toyota Land Cruisers have been donated to the Liberia Institute for Geo-Information Services, LISGIS in support of the National population and Housing Census and other censuses for the next five years.

The vehicles were donated by the World Bank through the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

According to a recent release from the World Food Program WFP, the vehicles with GPS were handed over Tuesday, June 24,2021, to LISGIS in Monrovia.

The release quotes LISGIS Director General, Prof. Francis Wreh, as saying, the vehicles will help to equip the entity with the needed logistics to help in the implementation of the Census.
