Woman sent to jail for manslaughter

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A twenty-five year old woman identified as Korline Jackson has been sent to jail for manslaughter by the Monrovia City Court.

Madam Jackson reportedly stabbed her boyfriend, James Dianue, in his upper left stomach during a tussle on June 9, 2021, in the Lofa Community in Careysburg.

The incident, according police records, said the victim had asked suspect Korline to visit his house, after they met at the Red Light Market but she promised to visit him the next day.

But the victim reportedly came back demanding his girlfriend to follow him to his house, but she reportedly refused on grounds that she was breastfeeding their baby.

According to the Police Charge Sheet, her refusal resulted into the tussle and subsequent stabbing.

However, suspect Korline told the police that she did not mean to kill her boyfriend.
