Liberia’s First Lady settles debts of about thirty students at Bomi County Community College

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-First Lady Clar Marie Weah has settled the arrears of at least thirty students of Agriculture at the Bomi County Community College in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.

The amount is two-hundred-two thousand Liberian Dollars.

Presenting the check to the college’s administration in Tubmanburg Wednesday, May 5, 2021, the Deputy Chief of Office Staff in the First Lady’s office, James Kortu, said:” The gesture was in response to the students’ ardent request.”

Meanwhile, the students have lauded the First Lady for settling their financial arrears.

In a related development, the College Vice President for Administration, Mr. Samuel Dunbar, also thanked President George Manneh Weah for his commitment to construct fifty classrooms for the community college.
