Thousands of UL Students risk being dropped for inability to settle fees

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Thousands of students at the University of Liberia (UL) risk being dropped for this semester, due to their inability to settle various fees.

According to the UL President, Dr. Julius Sarwolo Nelson, the payment process began February 1, and will end on April 30, 2021.

Dr. Nelson said:” Those students failing to complete payment of their fees within the time frame will automatically be dropped from the UL-Epotal System, beginning May 1, 2021.”

He said statistic shows that arrear for this semester amounted to over one-million Liberian Dollars, and such amount can significantly enable the UL to continue its faculty development initiatives, academic programs, curriculum revision, renovation and other operation activities, including logistics.
