I will continue to work hard to bring relief to my people…-Pres. Weah

MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah says he will continue to work hard to bring relief to his people at every sector of the country.

President Weah said:” I will never get tired helping in every little way possible to address the pressing needs of Liberians.”

The Liberian leader said he will continue his personal interventions alongside Government’s development programs, to ensure that people in the last mile villages get basic social services.

President Weah was speaking Thursday, February 25, 2021, when he appeared on the Tubman University Radio in Harper, Maryland County.

Meanwhile, President Weah said his Government will invest more in strengthening its media relations.

The Liberian leader believes a strong bond between the Government and the local media will go a long way in projecting a positive image of the country.

He vowed that his Government will continue to uphold press freedom, adding that no nation can be successful without the media’s involvement.
