Former Foreign Affairs Minister’s wife wants financial settlement from her husband in court

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The wife of former Foreign Minister, Gbehzongar Findley, is demanding forty-five-thousand United States Dollars from her husband, as settlement for wanting to divorce her on grounds of incompatibility.

Madam Kadiaytu Findley’s demand covers a monthly support of fifteen-thousand US Dollars and a legal fee of fifty-thousand US Dollars for her lawyer, Cllr. Johnny Momoh.

Madam Findley’s application to the Civil Law Court claimed that since her husband abandoned her marital home in 2015 for extra relationship, he had failed to provide her alimony in violation of their legal contract.

She wants settlement of her alimony before the Court’s hearing into her husband’s complaint to end his twenty-year marriage with her, consistent with law.
